Our training methods are rooted in positive reinforcement and tailored to each dog’s unique personality, behaviour, and needs. We always keep treats on hand to reward recall, focus, and great behaviour. We also make sure to replicate the structure and expectations from your home, so your dog’s training stays consistent and effective.
While we emphasise reward based training, we're also trained in the use of various tools and support balanced methods. Every dog is different and our goal is to implement what works best for each individual dog.

Unfortunately we are not qualified groomers. We always have towels on hand and will wipe down muddy paws the best we can. But if the weather is particularly bad, do not expect your dog to return looking as they did at pick up. We recommend having us leave your dog in a suitable area when you're not home on those particularly mucky days!

Absolutely not! At L&R we do not breed discriminate. Dogs will be matched on size and play style as much as possible. We do not accept any aggressive dogs onto group walks, but all breeds are welcomed. Any dogs on the Dangerous Dogs List, due to laws and insurance cover, are to be walked on a solo basis.

Yes, we walk intact males. Every dog is assessed individually based on their behaviour and temperament, there’s no discrimination. If they get along well with others, they're welcome to join group walks. If not, we’ll recommend solo walks instead.
Females in season can still be exercised, but only on solo road walks. Group walks aren’t allowed during this time. Alternatively, we’re happy to swap the walk for a pop-in visit instead.
