Puppy Steps

Start your puppy off on the right paw with our calm, structured Puppy Walks. These 121 sessions are designed to gently introduce your puppy to the world, helping them build confidence, develop key obedience skills, and form positive associations with new sights, sounds, and experiences.

Each walk is tailored to your puppy’s individual stage of development and might include:

• Loose lead walking

• Name response and recall foundations

• Calm greetings and polite manners

• Impulse control (e.g., around food, people, other dogs)

• Exposure to different environments and distractions

We focus on creating calm, positive experiences to support your puppy’s emotional development while also teaching essential training behaviours.

Puppy walks can be booked as a one-off or part of a longer term plan to support your dog’s development. They’re also perfect for dogs who aren’t quite ready for group walks and need to build solid foundations first.

You’ll receive a personalised update after each session, with progress notes and follow-up exercises to keep things moving forward.

Training Walks

Our Training Walks are customised, real-world sessions for dogs of any age who need help in specific areas or a refresh on foundational training. Whether you’re struggling with loose lead walking in busy places, recall at the park, or want your dog to feel more at ease in distracting environments — these sessions are tailored to your goals.

Each walk is designed around your dog’s needs and can focus on a range of environments and training challenges, such as:

  • Local streets with real-life distractions
  • Building focus and calm in busier areas like garden centres or town centres
  • Strengthening recall in parks or open spaces
  • Practising polite behaviour around people, dogs, and traffic
  • Learning to settle in everyday environments like cafés or restaurants

Using calm, consistent guidance, I’ll work on practical skills with your dog in real-life settings to help them generalise their training and build confidence. If there are situations you’d like your dog to handle more calmly but don’t have the time (or headspace!) to work on them yourself, I can do the groundwork for you. Helping your dog feel more relaxed, focused, and prepared for everyday life.

Training walks can be booked as a one-off or part of a longer term plan to support your dog’s development. They’re also perfect for dogs who aren’t quite ready for group walks and need to build solid foundations first.

You’ll receive a personalised update after each session, with progress notes and follow-up exercises to keep things moving forward.
